We’re so excited to invite you to join us on the Black Sea coastline as we celebrate our wedding with the people we love most. All the details for the week are below — travel, hotels, timings and everything you’ll need to plan your trip.
About the Wedding

Villa Chinka, Varna – 7:00pm
We’d love you to join us for dinner and celebrations by the sea as we welcome everyone to Bulgaria.
Villa Chinka is located on the Varna coastline, and guests will be able to travel in from Thracian Cliffs by taxi or pre-arranged transport.
Wedding Day Thursday

Thracian Cliffs Golf & Beach Resort – 4:30pm
The ceremony will take place at Geti Restaurant, followed by drinks, dinner and an evening of celebrations at Bendida Beach — all within the Thracian Cliffs resort.
We can’t wait to share this special day with you on the Black Sea coastline — and trust us, the party won’t end until the police show up.
Dress Code
An elevated, summery take on formalwear. Expect warm weather, so think refined, elegant outfits with a light, coastal feel.
You’ll be outdoors for much of the celebration, and the evening is beside the beach, so comfortable footwear is welcome later in the night.
Travel
Flying to Bulgaria
We recommend flying into Varna Airport (VAR), which is the closest airport to Thracian Cliffs (around 45 minutes by car).
There are regular direct flights from London Luton and London Gatwick.
This is the easiest and most convenient route for most guests.
Via Sofia
Guests can also fly to Sofia, Bulgaria’s capital, from London Heathrow and other UK airports.
From Sofia, you can take a short internal flight to Varna.
This option may offer more flight times depending on your schedule.
Getting to Thracian Cliffs
Transfers from Varna airport to the resort can be arranged directly through Thracian Cliffs or taken via local taxi.
Accommodation
Stay at Thracian Cliffs
We recommend staying at Thracian Cliffs for the duration of the celebrations.
The ceremony, dinner and evening festivities all take place within the resort, making it the most convenient and relaxing option.
We have reserved a block of rooms for our guests.

Varna is approximately 45 minutes from Thracian Cliffs and works well for guests who want more flexibility around their travel or plan to explore the city.
Children
While we love your little ones, however we kindly request an adults-focused celebration.
Children may attend if travel makes childcare difficult, though please note the evening celebrations take place beside an unlit beach, which may not be suitable or comfortable for young children.

Do I need a visa to visit Bulgaria?
No — UK passport holders do not need a visa for short tourist stays in Bulgaria.
What currency does Bulgaria use?
Bulgaria currently uses the Bulgarian Lev (BGN). However, the country is adopting the Euro (EUR) from 1st Jan 2026, so depending on timing, some places may accept both. Cards and Apple/Google Pay are widely accepted across hotels, restaurants and taxis.
What time should I arrive in Bulgaria?
We recommend arriving on Tuesday 25th, or Wednesday 26th, so you can relax before the celebrations begin.
